Top it off with quality counter surfaces

When creating the custom kitchen or bathroom you want, spend time considering the countertops. Receiving as much or more traffic than the floor, your countertops need to be durable. But, you want a sharp look, too. And, with so many colors and materials from which to choose, making a decision can be tough. Here’s a sampling to get you started. Our designers can help you find many more.

  • Laminate—A high pressure plastic countertop surface that is available in a wide array of solid colors and patterns. Many different finishes are available including matte, gloss, etched, and high definition. Laminate edge treatments include coved, laminate bevel, and wood nosing. Laminate is offered at a lower price point than solid surface or stone tops.
  • Corian®—A solid surface non-porous countertop material that offers a seamless look as well as exceptional durability. It is a heat and scratch resistant renewable surface that allows repair of minor nicks and scratches with mild abrasive household cleaners. The color palette includes 103 solids and patterns to choose from.
  • Zodiaq™—Quartz, an extremely hard mineral material coupled with high performance stain resistant polymers is the make-up of Zodiz countertop material. It is a durable, non-porous chemical resistant surface that is heat and scratch resistant, although not heat and scratch proof. The oclor palette includes many color tones with quartz particulates, and their Okite Collection which shows beautiful veining and dramatic movement in the patterning of this top.
  • Granite—Granite is the second hardest substance on earth after diamonds. The color will not fade, and is resistant to chips and scratches. When highly polished it is not only beautiful but is also highly indestructible and impervious to dangerous bacteria. Granite surfaces will not be harmed by hot pans and can easily be maintained with soapy water.
